Dear PowerBASIC,
It's been a few years, I was running PB in the days of MS DOS 5.0 and 6 and I loved it! The documentation taught me so much about the nuts and bolts of computing. The users guide and programmers reference manual were worth the purchase price alone.

Since Windows 98 and Pentium, my computers didn't come with any BASIC on them! I really thought it was a lost art in a world of web surfers and appliance operators. vs Hobbyists! like myself.

I sure miss it and I'm thrilled to know PB is alive and well. In the DOS days I knew little about word processers, my writing tool was the powerful screen editor built in to PB. After all you could save your pre compiled program as a .txt file.
